We were travelling south on the 404 in Toronto ON. 2 of us saw something that looked like a falling star. It was a large ball of light with a tail falling from east to west. We didn't think you could see a falling star that clearly or bright in the city. Then the light just disappeared.

Hey I'm in Scarborough, ON. I AM SO RELIEVED JUST TO TEAD OTHERS SAW THIS TOO. It came out of nowhere lastnight. It was 153 degrees SE and you guys are right; it did not seem to land but it looked like an orangish-red fireball with white light @ its end. I thought I'd hear a crash or feel a tremble-but-nothing(?) I have NEVER seen anything such as this before!
And it looked as if it shot down from left to right in the area of Scarborough Bluffs and Lake Ontario.
Why is there NOTHING on CP24 about it?
Something strange was in that sky lastnight!

I saw that lastnight in Toronto ;Scarborough.
153 degrees from L to R!
Huge orangish-red fireball. White tail of light.
It truly was a matter of seconds!
But it seemed like it went down into the Scarborough Bluffs area of Lake Ontario.
I'm still in shock! But glad I'm not the INLY person who saw this lastnight;(01/30/2016)
